Audi R8 5.2 FSI QUATTRO

1. Basics – The new updated version of R8 was unveiled in 2008. It had a 5.2 L engine straight from Lamborghini Gallardo LP560-4. The re-tuned engine produced 525 hp and the car could reach a top speed of 316 kph. R8 5.2 happens to be the world’s first car that came with LED headlights.

2. Specialties – It’s everything that we wanted to see in R8 4.2 FSI QUATTRO. It’s one of the best Audi in NFS World. For most of the players, there’s nothing much special in this car because it’s not ruling in any class.

3. Pre-installations – It’s an IGC car so it doesn’t come with any installations but I’ve added some stuff in my car.

*Performance - None
*Visuals – Plain blue paint

4. Acceleration – To say it all in one line, this car is above average in every category but not best or worst in any category. It has good acceleration but it’s not good enough to keep up with the best cars of A class. You can catch up with others in sometime if they don’t start spamming powerups. It goes above 190 kph within 5 sec without any perfect launch skill mods. Please keep in mind that my car has a mixed setup of pro and race tuned parts installed. Stock car might not go above 160 kph in 5 sec.
Nitrous power is good. It’s really good.

5. Handling – It has quick turning response, it turns very well but it understeers. It’s also a bit drifty but it remains stable and in control most of the time. Sometimes you might spin out on bumpy turns. Once you understand it, you’ll never loose control.
Handling is the best part of this car. If you know how to take advantage of its handling response on turns, you can easily win against Murci roadster and M3 GTS.

6. Top speed – Its top speed is good but it takes some time to reach there cause of slow acceleration in higher gears. Its top speed without nos is 333 kph and with nos is around 360 kph. These are performance stats of my personal setup of race and pro parts. Stock car would be slower than this. I didn’t install any skill mods to increase nos power or duration. With those mods, it will go faster than this top speed.

7. Race – It’s a good car in racing but try not to compete with the very best cars and you’ll win more races. Powerups spamming is also necessary to win races. Actually it’s inevitable now. If you want to win any race, powerup spamming is a must. You’ll hardly find someone who won’t use powerups against you.
Drag – Its not really good in drag races. If you talk about IGC cars, I’d prefer Murci roadster or Boss 302 ’12 over Audi R8 5.2

8. Pursuit – It’s lightweight but at same time its heavy enough to smash through road blocks. Good handling helps you dodge cops and blocks very easily. It’s a good car for team escapes and pursuits.

9. Body kits – It has only one but very good looking wide body kit that you can purchase with boost. There are many spoiler options available for boost and IGC. For some reason the spoilers are very high so if you like low spoilers, you’d be disappointed. Only one hood option is available, you can buy it with boost.

10. Price – It costs $ 1,700,000 IGC.

So, Shall you buy it? Hmm.. i think yes.

Why you should buy it / why you shouldn't buy it..

Yes. For a change. If you’re bored with Murci and M3 GTS, you can get this.
They all are pretty much equal in performance and require almost same efforts to win races.
Yes. For racing. Its good if you drive it well and if others don’t haha.
Yes. For collection, free roam cruise.
Yes. If you’re an Audi or Iron man fan, ofcourse you should get one without taking its performance into consideration.
Yes. For pursuits and team escapes.

No. For racing. If you can buy 911 GT2 997 or NISMO, this is of no use for you.
If you have mastered Murci roadster or M3 GTS, no need to buy this unless you want to master a new car.
No, For pursuits. This is good but there are better cars like Bentley & Zonda F. In IGC, Murci roadster is the best car for pursuits and team escapes according to me.
